This is typical of Disney..they think of everything! You will not regret going here, it is absolutely wonderful in every way. Neat, clean, level etc. etc.
The roads are paved, the area is shaded, the pool is clean. The restrooms and showers are clean but old and need attention. I have mixed feelings about this place-mostly I felt like I was camping in a trailer park. I don't think I would return.
My first thought of this park was "Oh my God, what a dump!" The sites are close, very close, and it seems that each coach has a vehicle too, making it more congested. However, we were here for the gulf and that makes it worthwhile. The water view is exceptional and for that alone, I would stay again. We were beach side and no matter where you end up on this side, it is very close to the water. I would love to get first row next time.
The amenities are exceptional. Showers were the cleanest I've ever seen. There is a lot to do for seniors and families as well. The sites are level. However, there is a relatively small area for short term stays. The park is primarily for "snowbirds" and there are a lot of park models that are semi-permanent fixtures. The sites are small and somewhat shaded. I would camp here again, but I really did not like having a semi-permanent "neighbor" with all their stuff outside.
The park was nice, dirt roads, but compacted. Easy access for many sites but others looked a bit more challenging. Beach access is across the street from the park,so if you are in the back of the park, you have a long walk. The office staff could have been a bit friendlier.
After reading previous reviews, I was optimistic about staying here. I have to say, it was the nicest, friendliest park I have been to. It is immaculate, the sites are well taken care of, roads are exceptional. Each site # is lit. You can't ask for better. I would very highly recommend this campground.
